DREADLORDS GAMING COMMUNITY

FOUNDING CHARTER — GOLDFALL ONLINE

Established 1998 | Ultima Online, Lake Superior

“United by loyalty. Proven in battle.”

PREAMBLE

We establish the Dreadlords chapter in Goldfall Online to carry forward a gaming legacy that began in 1998. Through loyalty, discipline, and shared ambition, we will build a competitive community where veterans and newcomers stand together, improve together, and forge lasting friendships.

ARTICLE I — PURPOSE

Our mission is to build a strong, respected presence in Goldfall Online through coordinated play, skilled leadership, and mutual support. We pursue victory, develop our members, and protect the reputation of the Dreadlords name.

ARTICLE II — CORE VALUES

• Loyalty: Honour your commitments and protect the trust of your teammates.

• Discipline: Prepare, communicate, and follow agreed plans.

• Respect: Treat members, allies, and opponents with dignity.

• Merit: Earn responsibility through contribution, reliability, and sound judgment.

• Unity: Share knowledge and help others improve.

• Integrity: Compete fairly and take responsibility for your actions.

ARTICLE III — MEMBERSHIP

We welcome players who accept this charter and demonstrate a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to the community. Experience is valued, but character and reliability come first.

New players join as Recruits and receive guidance before officers approve full membership. Recruitment requirements must be clearly communicated.

Members must use designated communication channels, protect confidential information, and notify organizers when unable to meet a commitment. Real-life responsibilities take priority.

Membership in other communities is permitted unless it creates a conflict in Goldfall Online. Joining a rival group within the game requires disclosure and leadership approval.

Members may leave freely and without harassment. Any entrusted community property must be returned.

ARTICLE IV — LEADERSHIP

Chapter Leader: Sets direction, appoints officers, and represents the chapter.

Officer Council: Oversees recruitment, operations, diplomacy, member support, and shared resources.

Operation Leaders: Direct assigned events and teams.

Veterans and Members: Contribute, mentor, and uphold community standards.

Recruits: Learn our practices and demonstrate readiness for membership.

Rank is a responsibility. Leaders must act fairly, explain significant decisions, and follow the same standards as every member.

The Chapter Leader names a deputy and succession plan. If no successor is available, the Officer Council appoints an interim leader. Full members then select a successor by majority vote during a seven-day voting period.

ARTICLE V — ORGANIZED PLAY AND RESOURCES

During organized activities, members follow the designated leader and keep communications clear. Urgent concerns should be raised immediately; other feedback belongs in preparation or debriefs.

Loot and reward policies must be announced before an activity. Shared resources must be managed transparently, with records of significant contributions and withdrawals.

Personal property remains personal unless voluntarily contributed. Theft, misuse, and unauthorized disposal of community assets are prohibited. Nobody may collect money or create financial obligations in the Dreadlords name without express authorization.

ARTICLE VI — CONDUCT

Competitive banter is welcome within respectful boundaries. Harassment, discriminatory abuse, threats, disclosure of private information, and targeted personal attacks are prohibited.

Cheating, prohibited automation, and deliberate exploitation of bugs are prohibited. Members must follow the game’s rules and the rules of community platforms.

Do not disclose private plans, credentials, conversations, or member information without permission. Only authorized leaders may negotiate alliances or make official commitments for the chapter.

ARTICLE VII — ACCOUNTABILITY

Bring disputes privately to an officer. Leadership will review evidence, hear those involved, and respond proportionately.

Responses may include mediation, warnings, restrictions, removal from a role, suspension, or expulsion. Serious misconduct may require immediate protective action.

Members receive the reason for disciplinary decisions and may appeal within seven days. Appeals are reviewed by uninvolved officers or an impartial senior Dreadlords community leader. Retaliation for good-faith reports or appeals is prohibited.

ARTICLE VIII — ADOPTION AND AMENDMENTS

This charter takes effect upon approval by the founding members. Every new member must accept it.

Full members may propose amendments. Proposed changes receive seven days of discussion followed by a seven-day vote. Approval requires two-thirds of votes cast, with at least half of the active full-member roster participating. The eligible roster is fixed when voting opens. Changes and their effective dates must be recorded.

FOUNDING DECLARATION

We pledge to honour our history, strengthen our community, and pursue victory together. Our legacy will be measured by our achievements and by the loyalty of those who stand beside us.

We carry the name.

We uphold the standard.

We are Dreadlords.

MEMBER PLEDGE

“I accept the Dreadlords charter. I will honour my commitments, respect my fellow members, compete fairly, and contribute to the strength and reputation of our community.”
